Lorentz PS150C Solar-operated Submersible Pump System

The PS150 Boost models are used in many non-commercial applications that have shallow water sources, such as springs, ponds, rivers, wells, cisterns, and streams. The PS150 Boost models are generally used for water supply for homes, purification and irrigation. PS150 Boost surface pumps use solar power to operate. The model of pump used and the total lift that is needed determines power needed for each system. Typically, the PS150 Boost models are run on 12 VDC or 24 VDC solar systems that are connected to batteries or solar modules. Features:

Lorentz PS600 Solar Powered Pool Pump System

The Lorentz PS600 submersible water pump is ideal for applications such as drinking water, livestock, pond management and irrigation. Lorentz has set the standard for economical solar pumping.


The Lorentz pump is meant to be used with a solar array although battery based systems will work as well. Ideally a pole mount or a solar tracker (which can increase water output by 40%-50%) would be used to mount the solar panels to. This means that your water yield could decrease in the winter and cloudy weather. Use of a float switch is recommended to prevent tank overflow.

Lorentz PS1800 Solar Powered Pool Pump System

The PS1800 C is a submersible water pump that has a high resistance from wear caused by sand or clay and requires no maintenance with high life expectancy. It is made from stainless steel and rubber with easy access for service. The PS1800 C is cost efficient and simple to install. This pump is most useful for deep well pumping, irrigation, potable water supply, and pond management.


There are several models of the PS1800 C pump that are rated differently for lift and flow rate. All models are powered by solar panels that need to have a nominal voltage of 72 – 96 VDC or 6-8 12V solar panels.
