Phoenix Energy Products™ became the largest residential installer in the United States for photovoltaic in 1982 working with Shell Oil, Motorola, and Solavolt (SES). All solar electric modules were stamped with PEP, as there were no other manufactures in Arizona at the time.
The Solar technology model for Phoenix Energy Products™ sparked its beginnings in 1976 starting the trend for Arizona. Since then PEP™ has fostered relationships among Arizonans including The American Indian Reservations and other businesses.
